Khustai National Park

Khustai National Park to the west of Ulaan Baatar is relatively new having been founded in 1998. It is less wooded and with less relief than Terelj. The park protects steppe and forest-steppe environments and is famed for the takhi wild horse. We spent one night there in a ger.
