Shaanxi Museum & Little Wild Goose Pagoda

The Shaanxi History Museum was opened in 1991 having been built on the instructions of Zhou Enlai. It is a major collection of articles relating to the province in which Xi'an is situated and which to a considerable extent has been the cradle of Chinese civilisation. The Little wild Goose Pagoda was built in 707. The base is a hemisphere of rammed earth which makes the pagoda resistant to earthquakes of which it has survived 70 with very little damage.
