Delhi 4

Pictures from a morning at Humayuni's Tomb and it surrounding gardens. Built around 1570 on the orders of Humayuni's wife it was the first garden-tomb on the subcontinent. As such it was revolutionary in its time and a precursor of the later (and more frequently visited) Taj Mahal.
This was the first part of the day we spent in Delhi between our return from Bhutan and onward trip to Rajasthan.
