Isla del Sol

Isla del Sol is the largest island in Lake Titicaca. Rocky and steep sided it is home to about 800 families dependent mainly on subsistence agriculture on the terraces found everywhere. Isla del Sol has no paved roads and no motor vehicles. We spent two nights there, an experience that was one of the highlights of the trip.
