Pilgrim Churches of the Llyn Peninsula


Many of the churches in the Llyn Peninsula at the tip of North Wales were established by C6th saints. In the Middle Ages three trips to Bardsey Island were equivalent to one trip to Rome. Thousands of pilgrims made the pilgrimage, stopping in these churches overnight.
