After our week in Guengat we headed east to Plumelec. We spent a while at Poul Fetan. This is a 16th village which fell into gradual decline as its inhabitants left the land and moved to the towns. The last left in 1970 and the ruinous village was sold by its owner in 1976. By 1992 it had been restored and is now a working museum staffed by volunteers.
