Le Hogolo - Gallo-Roman bath house (C1st to C4th)

The original bath house of AD50 had only cold and hot rooms and a plunge bath.
At the end of the century it was enlarged but later fell into disuse and was occupied by fishermen in the C3rd.
Abandoned in the C4th stone was robbed for building as time passed and the site became buried by sand dunes.
Now uncovered and restored it is shown as it would have been in the C2nd.
