Sarfaq Ittuk - Day 1
Arctic
Umiaq Line run a number of ferry services when the sea is free of ice.
Most of these are with small vessels, but they have one large ship -
Sarfaq Ittuk - which runs a weekly service between Ilulissat in the
north and Narsarsuaq in the far south via the capital, Nuuk. Sarfaq
Ittuk has a range of cabins, couchettes and sleepers and only carries
passengers. Whilst a number of tourists use the service most of the
passengers on our trip were Greenlanders.
